Development of Regulatory Frameworks for IFP Design
ICAO Annex 11 defines State Responsibilities for Flight Procedure Design Services. It requires States to either provide such a service, to provide a joint service with other States or to delegate the service to a third party. It further requires States to establish a Regulatory Framework. The service provided includes Validation. ICAO Document 9906 defines the IFP Process, the Validation Process as well as training requirements for Flight Procedure Designers and Flight Validation Pilots.
This results in a lot of work for the State. It means establishing processes, interfaces, requirements for training (basic and recurrent), requirements for data acquisition and processing, requirements for reporting in the IFP process, requirements to approve IFP Design Service Providers and Flight Validation Service Providers etc. etc.
Due to our experience in the field of ICAO Annex 11, Doc. 9906 and Doc. 10068, ANI Services can assist States to establish their Regulatory Framework for Flight procedure Design with all necessary interactions and interfaces. After a dicussion with the customer what exactly is the scope of our work, our expert will assess, what is already existing in the States Regulatory documentation. Then the expert will start working on providing shell documentation that the State can elaborate on. When everything is finished, the ANI Services expert will review the whole packe to identify if there is anything missing.
